Bluff View Park

Bluff View Park is a beautiful trail in Wildwood. This is a ½ mile paved trail to a beautiful scenic view. It is stroller-friendly and mostly in the shade! The starting point is at the parking lot. There are portable restrooms here. As you start walking down the trail, there is an unpaved trail parallel to the paved one (for mountain biking). An unpaved pump track is located right at the trailhead. The paved trail goes through the woods to the scenic view. The paved trail was updated last year (in 2023) and is very nice! After ½ mile, the trail leads to an overlook. There are benches and some shade here. Just a heads up, there is a dropoff at this view, so I keep my little ones close by. Mountain bikers pass quickly by the trail here sometimes. After we visit at the scenic view, we turn around and go back the way we came to the parking lot (for a total hike of 1 mile). Fall is my favorite to visit here because the fall colors are so gorgeous. The path is slightly inclined, so it is a gradual hill on the way back to the parking lot. This is a great trail for anyone looking for a short, paved trail with a view. If you are looking for other trails nearby, you can continue this trail for 2.5 miles to the Al Foster trail and 3.5 miles to Rock Hollow trail (along the Meramec Greenway).
